Kaposvari KK had a very important victory int he first game of the Championship, in Körmend

The home team changed its rooster in the last minute as Lamar Roberson had to be sent away, having a long-lasting knee injury. In the guest team was only Nikola Fekete not present as he is in Serbia for rehabilitaion.
The first game started tremendously for the guests, KKK had 10 points advantage in the first quarter. In the second quarter Körmend diffenced much better, but Swanston dunked and scored 2 triples. After the break Dunn made some mistakes what Körmend could improve and make some points. So there was 51-55 on the board.
But Kaposvar had an answer, Dunn made some turnovers and made some good situations for Spica, so after the third quarter 60 - 70.
Swanston played in an amazing form, he shot almost without mistake, mainly triples. Fodor and Shaw answered on the other side, but Swanston's show was much effective, so Kaposvári KK won its first game, and since 2006 it has been the first occasion when they won a championship starting game.
