Hello Kaposvar!

Many people told me last year that after I left Kaposvar that they would probably never hear from me again, but here I am. I do think about my time in Kaposvar often, and tonight more than ever. My game tonight in France we played against Curtis Marshall's team who played for Marso last season. We talked before the game about our time in Hungary, what we missed about it, like the one meal per day that we don't get in France. I miss eating at Corso, that place has the best food! We also miss short travel times to away games, as I'm writing this I am on a 15 hour bus trip, we left at night after our game and won't get home until 13h30 the next day! The last thing I miss is trainer Tomi, he was the best trainer! He gave great massages, and kept me healthy and injury free all season.

My team in France is in the city of Bordeaux, a beautiful city that is known for its wine. I do not speak any French, but all my teammates speak English so that helps me. It makes me see how much Hungarian language I learned last year. Coach Adam, Andrea, Soos, Tomi, and everyone else was very helpful in teaching me the language which will help if I ever come back to Hungary, and I hope I do.

My team in France has played 4 games and we are 3-1. I have been playing ok, I think I average about 13 points and 5 rebounds. I was the leading scorer in 3/4 of our games so far. The President of my team is Boris Diaw, an NBA player. Since the NBA lockout is going on he has been playing on our team. It has been a good experience playing with him, and he is a great guy and teammate.

Outside of basketball I got the chance to visit the city of London one weekend. It was a busy two days, I did so many things. I saw "Big Ben" and Buckingham Palace, and enjoyed the nightlife. Overall it was a good trip and I'm glad I went.

Finally I want to wish Kapos good luck this year, I am cheering for you guys and hope for the best.  A quick hello to my friend Josh, he is a great guy and has a beautiful family, Kapos is lucky to have him back. Also hello to Soma, Bence, Richie, and Kuttor my teammates from last year. Best of luck to Kapos this year!

Sziasztok Kaposváriak!

Sokan mondták tavaly, hogy úgyis elmegyek és soha többet nem adok hírt magamról. De itt vagyok. Gyakran gondolok a Kaposváron töltött évemre, ma pedig még inkább. Ma este Curtis Marshall csapata ellen játszottam, aki tavaly a Nyíregyházában játszott. A meccs előtt beszéltünk kicsit a Magyarországon töltött időről, mi hiányzik. Hiányzik például a napi egy kaja, amit itt Franciaországban nem kapunk. Hiányzik a Corso étterem, ott volt a legjobb kaja!
Az is hiányzik, hogy rövid idő alatt odaértünk az idegenbeli meccsekre, most is éppen egy 15 órás buszos utazás alatt írok. A meccs után indultunk és kb. délután fél 2-kor érünk haza!!! És még Tomi is hiányzik, a legjobb gyúró! Nagyon jól masszírozott, vigyázott az egészségemre és hogy ne sérüljek le.

A jelenlegi csapatom Bordeaux-ban játszik, nagyon szép város, a boráról híres. Nem beszélek franciául, de minden csapattársam beszél angolul, ez jó. Most látom, milyen sok magyar szót megtanultam tavaly. Ádám, Andrea, Sosi, Tomi és mindenki nagyon segítőkészen tanítottak magyarul, ami jó lesz, ha egyszer majd visszatérek Magyarországra, mert remélem visszajövök.

Eddig 4 meccset játszottunk, 3-1 az állásunk. Jól játszottam, kb. 13 pont az átlagom és 5 lepattanó. A 4-ből 3 meccsen a legjobb dobó voltam. A csapat elnöke Boris Diaw, NBA játékos. Amióta tart az NBA lockout, ő is játszik a csapatban. Nagyszerű élmény vele játszani, kiváló ember és csapattárs.

A kosárlabda mellett alkalmam nyílott arra is, hogy elmenjek Londonba egy hétvégére. Zsúfolt két nap volt, nagyon sok mindent csináltam. Láttam a Big Bent, a Buckingham palotát, és az éjszakába is belevetettem magam. Összességében nagyon örülök, hogy eljutottam erre a kirándulásra.

Végül sok szerencsét kívánok a kaposvári csapatnak, szurkolok nektek, srácok! üdvözlöm barátomat is, Josh-t, aki nagyon jó srác, nagyszerű családdal. Kaposvár nagyon szerencsés, hogy Josh visszatért. Üdv Somának, Ricsinek, Bencének és Kuttornak is!!!
